It would be good that you can smelt the brass shell casing.

Total 21 SP - 24 LP
21 SP = 42 Steel Ingot = 126 Steel Scrap.
24 LP = 12 Leather = 12 Pelt or 36 Small Pelt + 12 Animal Fat.

Steel Armor
Total Physical Resis 40% Poison Resist 10%
Total Weight 24.

Total Physical Resis 22 + CR 12 + FR 13 + ER 9 + PR 10 + W 17

Steel Armor 40 Physical Resis + 10 Poison Resist, 24 Weight
Leather Armor 22 Physical Resist + Cold Resist 12 + Fire Resiste 13 + Energy Resist 9 + Poison Resist 10, 17 Weigt

Also, skill to make Steel Armor 60 +
Skill to make leather armor 40 +

I understand that it has a SLIGHT improvement in resistance, but it does not compare to all the bonuses that wearing the armor has. ...leather—lighter weight, much more varied resistances (especially against the cold); plus, regarding material consumption, steel armor requires far more resources—and higher skill, too.
I haven't seen bone armor yet; steel armor doesn't seem very appealing to me so far. I don't know if other crafting options open up at higher skill levels... I'm speaking based on what I have right now, which is nearly 75 skill points.

Returning to the previous topic, I make a suggestion of items that can be added:

Insulated Steel Armor

They will be a little heavier and will require more resources but it will gain resistance to the cold, I think it would be good to have an insulated version of each of the 5 pieces of armor

——

Weapons: I think we have a decent ammount of melee weapons and for every weapons style.

——

Conteiners:

Metal box? It’s the metal version of the scrap box with woodworking.

Metal jar, mug.

——

Components:

Steel Plate (20)

Now it’s only a chance to make 10.

All armor is balanced to either be for more cold resist or physical resist. You have to choose between the two and can't have the best of both. Leather is in the middle between the two extremes.

I've noticed that decorative items for shelving have been added to the printing and glassmakings. Are there plans to add something similar for metalworking?

The plan is for everyone to have some decoration to a degree - specifically trade-specific stuff (hanging tools, etc.) it's just a slow roll out as we chip away at adding.

Well, after several practices I can say that 40 of physical resistance compared to 22, it shows. I understand that well one has to choose to have more or less resistance to the cold, but you were right and it's worth it. With 40 of physical resistance I can take to tank 3 or 4 raiders, with the armor of 22 I have tried and it is not possible, the damage is much greater. So point in your favor Archin. What I would like to propose in attachments for armor, not much, maybe to reduce weight, increase physical resistance or cold resistance by 1 point, there is not much to invent but it can be practical. I know it has been mentioned, that's why I'm touching on the subject again.

Metal Furniture; all have the same TDATA or gump. Also, I think shelf and wooden shelf are missing.
Feedback: varnish or special dye for wooden and metal furniture?
Feedback2: that objects created with woodworking and metalsmithing can be dismantled.
