Idea: would it be very crazy that the pickaxe could be used in the mines and thus obtain coal/iron/etc? That it's not the only way to get steel scrap from barrels or garbage? I don't think it's something that can't fit into the current lore. Mining existed at the time in which the current lore is developed. I don't say like the classic UO mining where it is very easy to get iron, perhaps with more limited iron betas as well as other resources, but I say it as an extra resource to the current ways of getting steel scrap. In addition, it can be done as in Reqiuem where the forges needed a fuel to melt the mineral, giving more use to coal/wood, etc. I don't think it's a bad idea. Opinions?
